What is FODMAP Friendly?
FODMAPs are a group of sugar compounds (Fermentable Oligosaccharides, Disaccharides, Monosaccharides and Polyols).
About 14% of Australians appear to be intolerant of these FODMAP sugars. FODMAPs are found naturally in common foods like - wheat, rye, apple, honey, legumes, onion, garlic, milk, Fructose and Lactose and they can trigger inflammatory reactions in the gut, like bloating, abdominal pain, irritable bowel syndrome, diarrhoea or constipation.
WILDE Gluten Free Pale Ale has been tested for these FODMAPs and is now certified FODMAP Friendly - the only beer in the World to be Certified FODMAP Friendly. For more detailed information on FODMAPs go to the official website www.fodmapfriendly.com
Few gluten free beers can say that – see Gluten analysis below.
WILDE Gluten Free beers are low in Fructose at less than 0.1g/100mls.
Sugar <0.1g/100mL – see analysis below
Fructose <0.1g/100mL – see analysis below
